ACCOMMODATION

The lodge has a spacious open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge with a "front line" location with wonderful views. There are two double bedrooms each with ensuite facilities, a spacious hall and outside is a large patio with garden furniture, loungers and BBQ.

South Coast Path

Location

Swandown is located 4 miles equidistant between the market towns of Crewkerne and Chard. There are numerous pretty villages with an abundance of pubs and eating establishments.  

On the 1,000 acre Estate there are miles of walks and cycle trails including the Cricket St Thomas Lakes and Gardens and for the enthusiastic walker there is the South West Coast Path, part of which takes in the Jurassic Coastline, a World Heritage site. 

Facilities on-site and nearby

On-site at Swandown is the heated indoor swimming pool.

Pool towels are provided in the Lodge.

Timed slots are bookable 48 hours in advance for sole use by individual lodges. 

Situated on the Estate, approximate 1 mile from Swandown, is the Warners Cricket St Thomas Hotel Leisure Complex (adults only) where there is another indoor pool, gym,  sauna and steam room.  This is available to Swandown guests (maximum 4 adults per lodge).  Swandown guests can also eat in the Hotel Bar.    

There is  also a Spa offering traditional beauty therapies  and a range of holistic treatments -  please check charges locally. 

 

Fishing is available on the Estate approximately 1 mile from The Cygnet.  Fishing is on a catch and release basis only.

 

There is a children's play area and outdoor adventure trail at Swandown. 

The Cricket St. Thomas Golf Club is located on the A30 less than a mile away. The club provides members and visitors alike the chance to play on a beautiful parkland course with outstanding views across the surrounding countryside.
